GET THE FACTS ON LEARNING TO FLY...
On average, most student pilots earn a private license in six months. Flying just a few times per week.
Last year more than 75,000 embarked on the experience of a lifetime by scheduling their first lesson.
The cost of learning to fly is dependent on several factors such as rental cost of the airplane and instructor fees. At Wright Brothers, the cost is between $6,100.00 and $6,900.00.
Nearly everyone has the physical and scholastic appititude to learn to fly. In fact, nine out of ten people who want to learn, actually have the ability and skills required.
All students must pass a simple medical exam prior to obtaining their license. The medical must be renewed every two years.
Some of the issues the student pilots learn in ground school are the principles of lift, gravity, drag, control, airspeed, and basic instrumentation.
